Kerrie & Family
I have been a part of the pest management family for more than 30+ years with my mom and my dad both active industry participants. Little did I realize that I would need to come to the Hands United Foundation for assistance but during the fall of 2020 I suffered a major medical emergency that left me hospitalized for a month in the Neuro ICU. The medical bills from two hospitals, emergency transportation and rehab aftercare added up very quickly. I received a grant from the Hands United Foundation that helped ease the burden of these large unplanned and uncovered financial obligations. This generous gift allowed my family and I to shift our focus more towards recovery and stress less about bills. I’m very grateful that the Hands United Foundation helped my family out during a time of such need!

I have been in the pest control business for 44+ years. The last 25 as a single operator. I found out about Hands United Foundation at our CPCO of GA, Fall Conference in Macon GA. I met Connie Rogers, who was working at the table for quite a while. I loved what they were doing for our industry. Then at our Fall Conference in Griffin GA 2024, I had some items we raffled off to raise some money for this organization, at that time I never thought it would be me needing the Hands United Foundation.
In April of this year, I had some serious medical problems, and had a long hospital stay and missed over a month of work.
The pest control industry is a wonderful group to be a part of. Having friends in the industry that stepped up to help and with Hands United Foundations help. It kept me afloat and now I am almost back to what I love doing.
I will try to find a way to pay forward what was done to help me out.
